The bird is gone
Stuffing and meat
and all the sides,
so great to eat!

Right now I'm happy
as can be
The only thing
that's stuffed is me!

Today it snowed.
My rooftop's white.
Now days are short
with longer nights.
I hope that Santa
finds his way
to my rooftop
in his big sleigh.
What if the snow
Just melts away?
Will he return
another day?

I got the flu
Then broke my wrist
The power went out
I lost my list
I overslept

To compensate
I overdrank!

We've had our elections
And made our selections

Seasons

When March rolls 'round
Spring sprouts.
By early June
Summer shouts!
In late September
Autumn falls,
And in December...
winter squalls!

What If?

What if it snowed forever more
and never ever stopped?
What if it reached the door, the roof ,
And pointy chimney tops?
What if it kept on snowing till
it bumped into the sky?
Then we would all be stuck inside
Till early in July!

When beds can fly and dreams come true
and walls bow down to let me through,
When chairs and tables learn to walk
and squeaky doors decide to talk,
When floors grow grass and ceilings rain,
I’d like to be a child again.
